Ingredients:
- 1 box of gluten free yellow or vanilla cake mix (click here to see the products page for some of our favorite cake mixes.)
- 1 can of vanilla frosting
- food coloring (We use Chef Master Liqua-Gel (affiliate link). They are gluten free.)
- sprinkles
Directions:
The Cake: Make the cake mix according to the directions on the box/bag. Once all the ingredients are combined, separate the mix into three bowls. Using food coloring, color one bowl of cake mix red and one bowl blue. Keep the third bowl without food coloring. We will call this white. In a greased bundt pan, pour the bowl with the red cake mix evenly around the pan. Then pour the cake mix without food coloring (white) in the center of the red mix. Lastly, pour the blue cake mix in the center of the white mix. Bake according to the instructions on the cake mix you used.
The Frosting: Separate the frosting into three bowls. Keep one bowl white and use food coloring to make the other two bowls blue and red. Microwave each of the bowls separately for 10-15 seconds. Drizzle each color on top of the cake, waiting a few seconds in between each color so the colors don’t run. Top with sprinkles while the frosting is still warm. Enjoy!
