Seven Layer Salad

Ingredients and Directions:

Layer the ingredients below in a large bowl.

·       1 head of lettuce (shredded)

·       1 diced green or red pepper

·       2 or 3 celery stalks (sliced)

·       1 small onion (chopped)

·       1 package of frozen green peas (cooked and cooled)

·       2 cups of mayonnaise

·       2 tablespoons of sugar (sprinkle)

·       1 package of shredded cheddar cheese

·       8 strips of cooked bacon (crumbled on top or serve on the side)


Cover with plastic wrap. Put in the refrigerator for 8 hours. Mix everything together before serving.
